Clean up the page intro?

[edit]

Does anyone agree the intro blurb to this page could use a LOT of cleaning up? For example it says in it that 'a memo is leaked attacking the fictional President Of The United States'. For starters, this is a page about a TV show episode, so yea...duh... of course the President character in a fictional TV show is himself fictional. And even on top of that, the way it reads is that a staffer writes a memo, not about Bartlett, but about someone President she's made up. Also why does it mention who wrote the article like a newspaper column? 'A Senior White House Advisor', why not just say the name of the character who does it? Also, why does the info bar list the guest stars but not the characters they play?

If you are looking for something to do

[edit]

If you are looking for something to do, the article still can be expanded. There's info in book reliable sources that can be added to the artice. If you add info from books to the article, you might be able to raise the article quality scale from C to B. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 13:15, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

AfD 2012-07-16

[edit]

Since this article was nominated for deletion ('Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Let Bartlet Be Bartlet'), edits have been performed making it much clearer why this episode is arguably notable. The AfD was closed as "no consensus" with the comment, "the best way forward would be to either start a merge discussion on the talk page of the article, or perhaps an RfC to settle the issue". I believe neither is necessary, but I also wanted Talk to note that. --→gab 24dot grab← 18:03, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
