Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on January 4, 2010.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that the music of the Russian band Lesopoval is inspired by the six years its co-founder Mikhail Tanich spent in a Soviet labor camp?

Lack of an image

[edit]

If anyone can find a free image, that would be great, but I am pretty sure there are none on the Internet. I attempted to contact the band, but the message bounced due to their mailbox being full. So I don't think we can get an image, unless someone in Russia takes a picture of them (and releases it under a free license) or something like that. I think you could use one of these for illustrative purposes, so long you make it a low-res copy. I'm not certain, tho :) Rcej (Robert) - talk 07:30, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and added an image from the band's website under fair use. I think it should be OK, since the two founders are now deceased and there are no free images available. Tell me what you think. And thanks for passing the GA! :) Minute Lake (talk) 02:32, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Due to the propensity of Russian piracy"

[edit]

This is quite offensive reasoning. --- from Russia with frustration — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.140.240.108 (talk) 21:24, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
