Overlap with Lesbian literature
[edit]Since almost all of Lesbian literature is about fiction, should this be a redirect there? —Celithemis 03:03, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- It'd be nice if this article could develop into its own, independent article, but it needs a lot of work getting there. The lesbian literature article is mostly lists, and it'd be better if this article could be mostly text, along with a couple of lists.
- I don't think Lesbian literature should be a bunch of lists, though. Having an overview article that is a big list and a more specific article that's mostly text is backwards. The lists would be better split off to List of lesbian novels or something. —Celithemis 23:12, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Good point. They both need expansion into well-written, factual articles. I wouldn't like to merge this one into literature though — I'd rather aim to expand both, with the literature article clearly broader and longer than this one. — Emiellaiendiay 02:17, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Useful article

Move or trim the long lists
[edit]The sections "Notable works" and "Notable authors" contain very long lists with no commentary on why these works or authors should be considered notable. We need a criteria for listing authors and works. Are there any lesbian fiction awards or similar? Or could we list authors who have won general fiction awards for their lesbian fiction writings?
Otherwise those lists should be deleted or moved to separate "List of..." articles (if such don't exist already). But I'm not a fan of deleting stuff, so I'd rather find a verifiable way to keep some part of those sections. Gronky (talk) 08:34, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
