Pulled from mainspace and redirected
[edit]After discussion at WT:DYK#Les fleurs dédaignées, this page was pulled from the DYK section of the mainpage and redirected to the article it was an unattributed copy of. It is useless to have a page that is mostly a copy of another existing page, and it is not allowed to copy text from another Wikipedia article without attribution. Despised Flowers ?
[edit]This is the English translation of 'Les Fleurs Dédaignées' given on the page. Is that anything like an official title or can I improve that version to a more accurate "spurned flowers"? --Svartalf (talk) 08:10, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, we should probably not use either. The English title used by the National Gallery of Australia uses "scorned flowers", so we should probably use that. Thanks for raising the issue. hamiltonstone (talk) 12:15, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
