Hill Top -> High Life -> Hill Top
[edit]The name was changed from igh life to Hill Top and back again.
They changed the name of the newspaper (back) to "The Hill Top" shortly after I graduated. I'm fairly certain they've retained the name. EEMeltonIV 05:00, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'm going there right now and the paper's current title is The High Life, so I edited the article. ShadowGuardian 05:00, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Glad to hear it's changed back -- I edited HL back in '97-'98. --EEMeltonIV 06:39, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Also, I recently got word that Mrs. Hall quit for some reason or other. Should her name be deleted from the list? ShadowGuardian 05:00, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Leon High School crest.jpg
[edit]Image:Leon High School crest.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:57, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Notable alumni
[edit]There needs to be a showing, of some sort, that the listed alumni are actually notable, as well as a showing that they attended Leon HS. Those with functional wiki links (blue-lined names) are okay, as the article should handle both issues. Those with red-lined names need justification, or they need to be deleted. Assessment
[edit]I am assessing this article following a request at WP:WPSCH/A#R and I'm giving it a quality rating of C-class and retaining the rating of mid-importance. For B-class, the main thing the article needs is expansion - see WP:WPSCH/AG#S for inspiration. As it stands at the moment the article has a lot of lists and little content of much interest. For example, the lists of activities for sports and clubs isn't hugely different from a lot of other schools - more focus should be on how activities are uniquely run at the school and what they have achieved with reference to third-party sources where possible. Sourcing also needs work, and will be a big barrier in further improving the quality rating of this article unless rectified. It is critical that all entries in the notable alumni section have a reliable source provided - see WP:BLP. The inclusion of images is good although I'm sceptical on whether File:Leon High School rc00665.jpg really passes WP:NFCC; it might be public domain anyway. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if further help is needed or to ask for re-assessment/further feedback. CT Cooper · talk 13:49, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
