quotation section
[edit]User:Nikkimaria: Regarding my reverts [1], [2], I and apparently two other editors (who noted the article in the DYK process) did not find the quotation section problematic. I think the subject's 2010 and 2011 comments about his contribution style merit a quotation section following his career section. I don't see an advantage in incorporating them into the career section. Bammesk (talk) 03:56, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
- Incorporating quotes properly into the article prose provides context for them. As an alternative to including them in the career section, you could develop a section on his style, including critical commentary on same. Nikkimaria (talk) 11:00, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
- I did an update. As far as context for a quotation section, the career section is context for what follows (quotations, discography, bibliography, legacy, personal life, etc.). Quotation section in a biography (if quotes are selected properly) informs readers directly/efficiently (subject's motives, techniques, self-image, etc.).
