Malachi
[edit]The spelling of Malachi for Taxidermy's pet seems more likely, although Roman has never stated how it should be spelled. Any thoughts? SaintedLegion 13:40, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Has it not occurred to you that given that comics are a PRINTED medium, that the PRINTED WORDS used in said medium can be checked for canonical spelling? The wiki entry has it right, it is not "Malachi".
does any one know if the commic book of taxidermy is comming out?
i'd just like to say that the animated films are available right here [1]
not anymore.... http://love.elhe.ru

- Never heard of anything like it. If you can find a link mentioning it, please post it. — Kieff | Talk 19:04, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Not True
[edit]"She is also afraid of growing up, and always says aloud what she thinks (she even drove her own pediatrician to the next loony bin.)" I have read all the comics and watched all the movies and not once does Lenore say she's afraid of growing up. In fact in issue #11 it says she's actually been 10 for over a hundred years. No doctor going insane either. I'm taking this piece off. If there are any objections, then by all means.... Kurdt13 February 21 2007
- Good. It was probably a vandal. — Kieff | Talk 00:17, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Mistake
[edit]Sorry i mistake... Im asking Dirge about the stop motion, he answer "I never made it" so i told "You must" The name of the stop motion i saw years ago is "Not Without My Hand Bag" from Boris Kossmehl & Andrea Fredrich...but is also a nice stop motion. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 200.67.177.170 (talk) 17:31, 13 April 2007 (UTC).
Edgar Allan Poe
[edit]Just curious... how do we know that the poem "Lenore" inspired this character rather than "The Raven"? --Midnightdreary 02:11, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- It'd be interesting, and best, to have a source citation on this, but the inspiration for the character appears to have been the line "A dirge for her the doubly dead in that she died so young", from Lenore, which is present in the Flash movies. I'm not sure if this shows up anywhere else, though. The Raven doesn't give much of a description of the Lenore character in Poe's work. — Kieff | Talk 23:59, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Answer : The poem can be find in the first pages of the first comic. However Dirge says that his cousin made a sketch of Lenore one week before the publication of the firt comic but it is not clear how the poem is involved or not in the process. I'd be glad to provide a quotation if my comic was in english.

Todd Goldman and Lenore
[edit]I have this http://taxidermied.livejournal.com/42521.html - But I'll have to find other sources that describe this WhisperToMe (talk) 06:16, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Edit: I think the bit in the Todd Goldman article about other characters would be a sufficient BLP-abiding citation for this (as this post by the Lenore creator cannot stand alone) WhisperToMe (talk) 06:26, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- EDIT 2: The specific source doesn't talk about Lenore, so this particular page cannot be used. I can only use it if a reliable source refers to Lenore and Goldman. WhisperToMe (talk) 06:37, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
