Correct JP attribution?

i wanted to reword "JP Perthshire, 1972-75" into prose but wasn't sure about the correct terminology. Anyone know if "he was made a Justice of the Peace in Perthshire, serving between 1972 and 1975" is barking up the wrong tree? tomasz. 15:22, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
