Having read the article, I understand the concept it is trying to convey, qualitatively at least. However, I am having a lot of trouble understanding the diagram - it is in no way self contained. One problem is that it does not mention false/true positive rates of the test (I assume 0,100, partially from the text in the click-trough image). Other than that, I dont get what it is trying to say. It seems to imply everyone has cancer, and you can survive or die. THis seems like a bit of a mixed-up idea. All the population members must die at some point, and it is the fact that if someone dies quicker, and you draw a vertical line through a set of horizontal time-intervals at a random point, you bias against those who have short lifespans. tl;dr : Diagram is confusing, needs replacing. 92.21.153.243 (talk) 10:39, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
