Name

[edit]

Although there seems to be confusion on how her name is spelt I think the article should be at Lena Pedersen. It's all original reasearch but the vehicle used by the boarding home in Yellowknife uses the "e" spelling. Everybody I talked to agrees that she was the wife of Red Pedersen and a look in the phone book confirms the "e" spelling for Red and sons. I support moving this article to Lena Pedersen for an additional reason: the book's author is Pedersen not Pederson. While a living person can't control how her name is spelled in articles, etc., surely she has final approval of how her name is spelled on a book she authors. Btw, Cambridge, are you going to mention marriage on Lena's and Red Pedersen's aricle pages? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rosiestephenson (talkcontribs) 18:07, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Probably not as there's no references that say they were married. Unless it's in the book. By the way, what's the title of the book? CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 19:33, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, mentioning a marriage should have a corresponding citation. Lena's book is entitled Crime Prevention in Kugluktuk; I attributed it to her on her page under Partial Bibliography. Rosiestephenson 20:03, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, brain dead moment! For some reason I thought you ment another book. I just checked the index to Bishop Sperry's book and found no reference to them at all. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 20:08, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
