Fair use rationale for Image:Lemon Tree.jpg

[edit]

Image:Lemon Tree.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:17, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Why was my change reverted with a vandalism motivation? Here is a link to the last.fm-page for the Darcy cover of this track http://www.last.fm/music/Darcy/_/Lemontree. Darcy also released a full length album listed here http://musicbrainz.org/release/16cd85ba-8df6-4579-acdf-38d3ace93e06. There is also a reasonably extensive page on Swedish wikipedia for Darcy http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darcy and a presentation of the band (although this cover is not mentioned there) at their record company http://www.westsidefabrication.se/bands/darcy/. I am reverting this change. --D-b (talk) 14:46, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please D-b, see your change here. You don't removed any references, you are sure? --Europe22 (talk) 18:47, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Origins?

[edit]

The song is based on a much older instrumental version with a big gong sound at the end of the verses. Sounded a bit chinese style. Have no idea with what title. Thought this should be mentioned.

If it should be included, you'll have to tell what song it is and give a reference for this claim. Te og kaker (talk) 00:50, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well roared, lion! But if you don't know the title? Isn't there really no one who knows this instrumental song? Often played on the radio for years (long before Fools Garden)2003:DA:9F2A:3018:21A:A0FF:FECC:2E9B (talk) 09:03, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
