Poor article
[edit]This is a very poor entry. It really should be expanded with more information. ICE77 (talk) 05:40, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
- This is all the informayion we have for this figure. Lelantos is only mentioned in one source, Nonnus, (is perhaps an invention of Nonnus') and this is all the information that Nonnus gives for this figure. Paul August ☎ 15:25, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
No Parents were ever given for Lelantos
[edit]Lelantos appears only as character in the Dionysiaca of Nonnus (early 5th century AD), and is apparently an invention by Nonnus—no other ancient sources mention Lelantos, and Nonnus does not give Lelantos any parents. The non-RS (see WP:RS) web site theoi.com says that his parents were Phoebe and Coeus, but this is apparently mere speculation. Other non-RS web sites such as Greekmythology.com also say this, having probably picked this up from Theoi, or previous versions of this article. Paul August ☎ 11:45, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
