Hey everyone - I'm pretty new to Wikipedia. I have read the guidelines and hope this message respects them!

My non-profit organization, The Solutions Project (www.thesolutionsproject.org) advocates for renewable energy, and Leilani Munter is a spokeswoman/activist that we work with. In about 2 weeks she's going to be doing a 3-day road trip advocating for renewable energy, and I'm going to be contacting local communities along the route to have various rallies/events.

I would really like for her wikipedia page at that point to be clean and unbiased so that when the people that I reach out to google her, they're getting good info. At the moment it seems like there are a lot of issues with the entry... I think she or someone on her team just used copy from other places without realizing that it wasn't compliant with guidelines here.

I recognize that I probably shouldn't edit the page myself given my relationship to her. Is there anyone who might be interested in helping out? I'm not trying to influence what's written, I'd just love to have a page that's fair and objective that I can point people to.

Thank you, it would be great to get some input on how I should proceed here! -- Meredith

First thing is whoever tagged this article was enthusiastic in finding every possible complaint they could think of, it's excessive and not helpful. I went through and read the article top to bottom looking for obvious problems with POV and COI. Certain claims need to be sourced and I tagged those. The fact is Leilani Munter has done a lot of notable things which have reliable secondary sources, so the article has a lot of career highlights. I'm not sure some of it needs to be in the article but on the other hand they could be if someone wants them to be. If it comes down to it we would probably have lengthy discussions and maybe even RfC's to determine if these things should be included. -- GreenC 15:26, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
