Anyone know how old she is? The article says born 1983 but the category says born 1981. I can see references to both via Google. Rnb (talk) 16:12, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Bigs7 said photo was up so it should be used. Clearly taken without consent and looked manipulated. If it’s “up” as claimed where is the original source of photo? Is Bigs7 the one who took photo without consent? 205.178.9.91 (talk) 05:09, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is this the same person? Anyways if it bothers you that much I can get rid of it. Honestly don’t care that much. Bigs7 (talk) 15:34, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's no requirement that a photo be taken with consent. I think the article is stronger with some illustration of the subject. I am sensitive to concerns about manipulation, but in comparing this photo to non-free ones available via Google, it seems decently representative. Maybe you could elaborate on the manipulation concerns? Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 15:46, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Different user who also monitors this page because of slanderous edits that have previously occurred. @Bigs7 claimed the picture was “up” so it should be used but never cited original source of picture. This doesn’t even appear to be while individual is working, as said subject is a sports anchor for broadcast. Clothes and setting indicate this. This isn’t a broadcast setting. So where online is this picture if not simply taken by Bigs 7? 205.178.9.91 (talk) 16:34, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's no requirement that a photo be while an individual is working. Most of our living biographies include candid photos during public appearances. I assume "up" means that it had recently been uploaded (by Bigs7), and by all appearances it's an original work and not taken off the internet. I appreciate that multiple editors are watching this page on alert for slander, but this seems like a good edit blocked by (justifiable) over-sensitivity. Gallagher Way near Wrigley Field is 100% a sports broadcasting setting. It was casual Fridays and she was doing a radio show with a two other hosts on WSCR before the 5/31/24 Cubs game. Bigs7 (talk) 16:58, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is no proof this was a radio show. Individual appears to be mid conversation standing in front of what appears to be food. Article says individual broadcasts Wednesday shows. And picture looks doctored. 205.178.9.91 (talk) 17:02, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well I was there and don’t know what else to say. I have the memory that’s for sure. It was during a commercial break and she was eating at the food table. They had fries and chicken tenders. Fans also came over for pictures and to say hi. She was with Holmes and Bernstein during the show. They even interviewed Jon Sciambi and Crane Kenney during the show. Unfortunately the Cubs lost 5-4 to Reds that day. Bigs7 (talk) 17:08, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Among concerns of authenticity, there is concern that this rewards the behavior of a potentially known stalker and encourages future encounters. Given the fact that this person claims to have stayed to watched her eat, the concern appears to be valid. There are plenty of professional pictures available. Why not use one of those instead of encouraging a potential crime? 24.148.60.39 (talk) 05:20, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think me and @Firefangledfeathers are done with you accusing me. I just stayed to listen to the show before entering the stadium and saw all this. I get the feeling you want me to bad or something. Bigs7 (talk) 18:37, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
