isn't teabing fat in the book, whereas in the movie he is skinny, anyone?
Why reveal his true intentions?
[edit]Does anyone know why, when he has their trust, Teabing reveals his true intentions to Langdon and Neveu before they have unlocked the cryptex? It would seem far more logical to wait till the cryptex is unlocked.--Seth ze 01:37, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
A while back, I remember there being a page for 'The Teacher' saying something like 'follow this link if you wish to know the true identity of the Teacher, however this is an integral part of the novel/film and you should only click it if you really wish to know his identity.' As it is, anyone could go to the Teacher article wishing to know more about his character without wanting to know his identity, but being that it redirects straightaway to Teabing's page, the surprise would be totally spoiled. Does anyone else agree that there should be a redirect page like I mentioned? And if so, could someone do it? I don't know how to create a new page at a destination that automatically redirects. 163.1.42.192 14:00, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Firstly, if someone is looking up a mysterious figure in a book, then they probably want to know and if they are upset about spoilers, it's their own fault. Secondly, I think Wikipedia policy is that we should use a spoiler template before revealing in the prose that he is the teacher. -- Thinboy00 talk/contribs @109, i.e. 01:36, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Heavy on plot summary
[edit]This article is far too heavy on plot summary. Piero da Vinci (talk) 01:50, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
