Background information from relative

Legson worked as a civil servant for the UK Home Office for over 20 years. He had married an English girl, Carol Lawson, whom he met in Cambridge and they had four children before their divorce. In 1996 he married Julie Robertson from Washington State, US, whom he had met previously in 1961 when he was a student at Skagit Valley College. He died from a massive brain hemmorhage on October 14, 2012 and is survived by his wife, Julie, his four children - Selena, Natasha, Rosamund and David, and eight grandchildren, plus four step-grandchildren.
