Weapon Photo
[edit]I think being a fan of the character, (specifically the Orlando Bloom movie portrayal) a big part of Legolas is his weapons, obviously from what I know from the movie he starts his journey with the fellowship using his Miirkwood bow, and then when in Lothlorian is gifted a bow of the Galadhrim by Galadriel. This is consistent with the books I believe so I'm curious as to the etiquette for posting pictures with copyrights and such as I would like to implement some pictures of bows into the article (and possibly the two silver daggers he uses in the film as well). Let me know.EliteArcher88 (talk) 00:04, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

- Twillisjr - "an image or photograph of Legolas" does not seem to be a well-formed request really. Legolas is a fictional character, so a "photograph" can only mean a still from a feature film, presumably one by Peter Jackson, and all such images will remain in copyright for many years to come; we already have a "fair use" image of Orlando Bloom playing Legolas, and we certainly can't use a second one. Otherwise, there could be a fan painting, but such images are not suitable for the lead, and we use such things only with caution even in the "Adaptations" section, which is already well populated with images.
