Body

[edit]
  • Lead release dates don't represent a worldwide view.
  • "a custom-built minifigures" - Is the article "a" here necessary?
  • "without NPC minifigures on the track." - Not everyone know what NPC is. Maybe turn it to something like non-playable minifigures will be more appropriate?
  • "Lego Racers was available to play before release by journalists at E3 1999." Is this necessary? Most other games are like that. You should link E3 1999 to History of the Electronic Entertainment Expo#1999
  • "a car's built" - The article should be written in a formal way, so this short form here looks weird.
  • Electronic Gaming Monthly need to be italicized
  • "mixed to negative reviews" - Mixed or negative is also vague, similar to mixed to positive
  • PC Gamer, GameFan and Nintendo Power reviews wasn't mentioned anywhere in the reception section. This doesn't follow the Template:video game reviews guidelines.
  • You only need to call the the reviewer first name once.
  • Add a * before your external link.

Reference

[edit]
  • I don't see any dead links but I recommend you to archive all your citations.
  • "Staff, IGN" in the citation is not necessary.
  • The article seems to be heavily relying on the manual, which is a primary source.
  • High Voltage is American-based. The date format should be something like January 1, 2010 instead of 1 January 2010.

Image

[edit]
  • File:Lego Racers cover.jpg uses GameFAQs as a source, which is not reliable.
  • File:Lego Racers.jpg needs some cleanup. Its caption also needs expansion, something like "A gameplay screenshot showing the player-controlled ... (a more detailed description)"

Overall

[edit]
  • Generally speaking, it is a well-written article and it can easily get a pass because not much problems are observed. But the over-reliance on primary source is a very serious problem. I will leave it on hold for seven days for now. If the primary source problem is fixed, this GA will pass. I will ask for second opinion if this problem is not fixed. So, good luck.
