NSW
[edit]In New South Wales, the Lower House is referred to as the Legislative Assembly, not the House of Assembly. I've removed the reference to NSW from that section. Xdenizen 22:07, 5 September 2006 (UTC)hdfhhsrtgn trt trrtrs tsret
World view
[edit]Legislative Assembly refers to a legislature, period. No need to restrict it to the British Commonwealth. The Assemblée Nationale is a legislative assembly, so is Dáil Éireann and the Knesset. rfyzScolaire (talk) 21:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)hjgjhj
Legislature
[edit]Large chunks of this article are a cut and paste (complete with footnotes that don't link to anything) from Legislature. At the very least, I'll take all of that out, but I wonder if there's actually any point to the article at all. All it really says is that some countries call their Legislature a Legislative Assembly. There's a similar page without the big c&p for Legislative Council.
