Conflict of Interest
I have removed a number of vague and/or unsourced statements from this article. I have also removed large sections of text which were copyright violations because they were copied directly from another source. This article had a non-neutral advertising/promotional spin to it, which I have removed. An editor has admitted to a conflict of interest with edit summaries such as "Changed Alpine to SUMMERTIME PICTURES. Please do not change this as I am a rep from the company and Summertime Pictures is the production studio. Thanks!" and "Corrected information on Distributor and changing Alpine Pictures to Summertime Entertainment. I am a rep from the company, PLEASE do not reverse my corrections.". Please be sure this article keeps a neutral tone and information is reliably sourced. Thanks. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 14:24, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Question/Thank You
Thanks for taking an interest in this page. Although I do work for the company, I don't understand why other users can place whatever info they desire without any source materials. After this page was originally created, I noticed incorrect information and proceeded to correct the false information. I'm unsure what marketing/PR spin it was taking as I only displayed facts and sourced my findings. Do I just allow false information to rest on this page and hope that someone from Wiki takes the time to research and correct it? Can you please suggest where to get a plot summary if not from the official website? Would IMDB be appropriate? Thanks. --User:Taurenlegend —Preceding undated comment added 17:40, 18 June 2010 (UTC).
- If a newspaper article gives information on a film, that newspaper article can be the source for included information, as Wikipedia requires verifiability in reliable sources. You might personally KNOW something to be factual, but Wikipedia requires that it be sourced someplace other thank personal knowledge. Please spend time reading WP:Copyvio and WP:Reliable sources to better understand in what manner just what informaton can be used. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 23:42, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
Incubation Period
Hello, I am the main contributor to this article. When will the incubation period end? I read the discussion of deletion and saw that the film needs to be reported from a reliable news source that the project is actually in production, but is there a timeline? Will the incubation period stop at any point. I just don't want to lose the hours I put into creating the page only to have to re-do it when our next press release goes out. - Most likely when principal photography has begun. Mike Allen 01:17, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
There are promo shots available now: http://www.collider.com/2010/06/17/dorothy-of-oz-first-sketches-lea-michele-oliver-platt-dan-aykroyd-patrick-stewart-kelsey-grammer/ I think the incubation period should be over now. --DefyingGravityForGood (talk) 21:48, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
