lawsuit (in its current form) is used as a synonym for 'civil trial', on the discussion page someone took issue that lawsuit could mean more than just civil trial
'legal proceedings' definitely means more than just 'civil trial'
'legal proceedings' should therefore point to more than just lawsuit (even if you interpret lawsuit to mean more than just civil trial). Because of this, I have attempted to change legal proceedings from a redirect to 'lawsuit' into a disambiguation page to all sorts of legal proceedings. dr.ef.tymac22:46, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
