Closed

[edit]

It seems misleading (incorrect?) to start with, "Let M be an orientable closed manifold of dimension n, with boundary N," because a 'closed manifold' is defined in wikipedia as such: "In mathematics, a closed manifold is a type of topological space, namely a compact manifold without boundary."

Perhaps 'closed manifold' should be replaced with 'compact manifold'. 14:56, 4 December 2008‎ [[User::128.255.148.184]]

Seems to be fixed now by linking to manifold with boundary. linas (talk) 16:40, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Triples

[edit]

Please, is there any reference to the triple version? I couldn't find it anywhere. 147.231.6.9 (talk) 13:10, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

(Ok, I have found it in Hatcher 147.231.6.9 (talk) 13:19, 2 July 2014 (UTC))[reply]
