Sister Cities?

[edit]

Is the German city of Frankfurt Oder officially a sister city of Ledyard? I can't find anything about sister cities on the town websites for either city, but I believe both cities agreed to become sister cities after years (possibly decades) of participation in a high school exchange program called the German American Partnership Program (between Ledyard High School and the Sportschule Frankfurt (Oder)).

Nevermind, it looks like Frankfurt Oder does have a list of sister cities and Ledyard is not on it. The list can be viewed at this location: Frankfurt /O website[1] as of 2/11/2007 9:50am.

Notable people

[edit]

@69.59.65.64 and 2601:80:C202:F54:805C:C07A:28A8:37FC: Please read and understand Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Write the article first before re-adding people to this article. The burden of proof for notability (especially for people) on Wikipedia is very high; it requires multiple substantial independent sources about the person, and it must be clear why the person is notable. Activities like writing local history books and starting a scholarship (and appearing to NPR to talk about it) are far below Wikipedia standards for notability and do not justify adding a person. That is not merely my opinion - that is long-established Wikipedia policy. @BrineStans: pinging you because you've been involved in their similar editing on a different article.
