[edit]I have just been reading about Leah Hackett and I am puzzeled. Does she come from Leigh or Wigan. She can't come from both. This is very annoying to people from Leigh, who, although we have been hijacked and dragged into a so called partnership with Wigan, still consider themselves Leithers. Leigh and Wigan are completely separate towns and we would like it to stay that way. Please get it right.

NB the reality is that Leah was born in Bolton and lived the first three years of her life in Lowton St. Marys , on the boundaries of Leigh ... from the age of 4 the family moved to Tyldesley and when Leahs parents split up in 1993 they shared parenting duties with Leah living with her mum in Tyldesley but spending every other weekend with her father at Norton Village Runcorn .
