Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (The person is a winner of a National Singing competition, she has had numerous music projects produced, she has had number 1 spots on Billboard and has won a Grammy, some artists who have also won a national singing competition have their own wiki page and they have never charted at a number 1 position on Billboard, had a page on wikipedia before their first album even came out, and have not won any awards major or otherwise, if they can have a wikipedia page this person should be able to as well, for she has accomplished more than they have, why this article is for speedy deletion when it was created seconds ago, and why there is no reason behind the speedy deletion is puzzling.) --Ninjawarriordex (talk) 06:43, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (This artist won a national televised singing competition, won a contract, a car from ford, and has gone on to chart at number 1 on billboard gospel charts two weeks in a row, and has won a Grammy. Some artists on wikipedia, who have also won national televised singing contests, have had pages before they even had 1 album out, and have not won any awards major or otherwise, yet they have multiple pages. This artist fits the criteria because not only has precedent been set but the same practices keep being set. example: 2 chainz, has no album out, no awards and pages on wikipedia, so this artist should have a page as well because they meet the criteria for an established wiki page and overexceed a wiki page of an artist with no album or subsequent nominations, sales, or awards) --Ninjawarriordex (talk) 07:40, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
