"it was only in Scandinavia that the function evolved into an office." Is this not misleading? Compare Druidic functions described by Latin commentators. Shouldn't the inscriptions of Germanic oral traditions as they interacted with Roman culture, Lex Burgundiorum etc, be mentioned and linked? Just a thought. --Wetman 20:37, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
