His mother
[edit]Isn't she Irish not Welsh? Eileen is definitely an Irish name. I think this is true becuase the IRFU tried to get him to commit to Ireland years back. Jayteecork 21:25, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- According to Dallaglio in the newspaper article that I referenced, she's half Irish. You can't judge on the name because Eileen (and the Scots variant Aileen) are commonly used elsewhere -- Eileen is said to have been one of the 1000 most popular girl's names in the USA in every decade since 1880. Fair use rationale for Image:LawrenceDallaglioAuto.jpg
[edit]Image:LawrenceDallaglioAuto.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
2007 Rugby World Cup
[edit]I have removed the reference to his retirement (which is already covered in the opening profile). There is no justification for linking his announcement to the renewal of Ashton's contract: it may be true, but as Dallaglio himself has denied any link the inference should only be included if it can be sourced as true. I have also removed some of the POV adjectives. - Jimmy Pitt (talk) 15:02, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
It seems pretty odd that there is a section on the 2007 world cup but not on the 2003 world cup. Dallaglio played in every match and they actually won that tournament. I reckon he'd far rather have that on his page than the stuff about the 07 RWC! I'd write it myself but I'm a Welshman and would probably write something offensive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.21.55.19 (talk) 23:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
