There's a variant of this "law" which I've seen referred to as the "law of contact" or "coincidence theory"; that things which once (physically) encounter each other will continue to (physically) encounter each other. Can anyone help me with a name or a reference? — Arthur Rubin (talk) 12:31, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This reference might be useful: Rozin, Paul; Nemeroff, Carol (2007). "Sympathetic Magical Thinking: The Contagion and Similarity "Heu-ristics"". In Thomas Gilovich; Dale Griffin; Daniel Kahneman. Heuristics and biases : the psychology of intuitive judgment (Reprinted with corrections, 2007 ed.). New York: Cambridge University Press. --Japarthur (talk) 05:57, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsensical

[edit]

The only reference is that an elderly couple that live a country where you can worship SpongeBob SquarePants, calling themselves druids, profess to be able to correct each and every quantum scientist.

This whole article needs to go as part of The Golden Bough, or be dramatically changed.
