I propose that Michigan Compiled Laws be merged into Law of Michigan. Since the MCL is the codification of the state's laws, and it is referred to in the 'Legislation' section of the Law of Michigan article which is currently not particularly lengthy or substantive. Oppose The Michigan Compiled Laws are a specific work, and any information that is particular or peculiar to them, such as the history of their creation and publication, should go into that article not the law article. Such information would clutter up the law article, and so would be removed, leaving no place for such information to go without that article. Yes, its duplicative at the moment, but in time, this will change, and this can only really change if that article exists. Int21h (talk) 18:50, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Support'. Contary to Int21h, Michigan Complied Laws are the core of the Laws of Michigan and has up to and including the State Constitution. Any information peculiar to them being compiled should not take up too much space in total to "clutter" up. The MCL being the core of Michigan laws are not notability separate from Laws of Michigan.
