@Olivia Pugh: You don't necessarily need to update your progress for your class assignment here on the article's talk page, unless you're seeking input directly from others (including others who aren't your classmates). If your class has a specific page set up where students can update their progress, then it's probably better to do this kind of thing there. As long as you leave clearly worded edit summaries, other users should be able to follow your edits.
