Article creation

Nice work on this new article. It was reliably and independently sourced, and neutral. Most new school articles are of a far lesser standard. Colin MacLaurin (talk) 23:31, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ELs

[edit]

Duplicating the main external link in the ELs section (its already in the infobox) goes against WP:EL. Further, the two ELs there pass EL. Outpost is the parent "company/organization" and the alumni page, see the "Links to be considered" #4, though reliability is considered in the context and you could argue thus it is reliable. But it is not SPAM (no advertising) and it includes images of the old campus, plus does not really meet any of the "Links normally to be avoided". Aboutmovies (talk) 06:59, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We had a nice discussion about this, and what we agreed on was that (a) the EL should not be duplicated in any case, and (b) the alumni page is okay IN THIS INSTANCE. Not all alumni sites and booster sites are going to meet the criteria in WP:EL, especially spam, "unverifiable research", fansites, and so on. tedder (talk) 22:55, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
