a disease?

- A disease, as in the retina degenerating and the modest risk of a retinal tear, which can have a mild risk of a detachment of the retina. Hence, any patient informed of the condition is also advised to report to their ophthamologist immediately for treatment if they see flashes or a large increase in floaters. I was found to have lattice degeneration when I had my cataract removed (trauma induced). I'll see if I can find some GOOD references from scholarly sources.Wzrd1 (talk) 19:28, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
