I will be reviewing this article. Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 03:04, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh… I’ve never nominated one before, I assumed you had to not work on it… LightProof1995 (talk) 04:11, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Before nominating, reference the Good article criteria and article of interest to make a preliminary judgement on whether it would pass. An article with tags maintenance template addressing problems need to be fixed before nominating, otherwise it's a quick fail. Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 05:16, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Failed "good article" nomination

[edit]

This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of August 12, 2022, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?:
2. Verifiable?:
3. Broad in coverage?:
4. Neutral point of view?:
5. Stable?:
6. Images?:

The article is orange tagged (OR and single source) and has significant verification issues. There has not been any attempts to address them in the two days since it was nominated. The talk page raises a number of issues about writing/presentation style and subject coverage which are still present. For that, I am quick failing this nomination.

To anyone interested in GAN'ing again, take some time to address the verification/OR/single source issues; restructure the body so it reads better. I would not go into the other issues since I'm not too well versed in this subject, but the orange and CN tags warrants a quick fail. From comments in the talk page and edit history, an expert should give in-depth suggestions to improve it.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 06:30, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I thank Dunkleosteus77 for the concerns raised. Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 04:45, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
