Difficult to see the UHF TV?

[edit]

Without setting up special antennas or tuners, viewers can only watch VHF stations, and not UHFs. (The distinction between VHF/UHF may become blurred in other parts of Japan, however.)

In 2000s a VHF-only TV set is an antique, and an indoor antenna are sufficient in many locations. Soredewa 11:48, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cour=?

[edit]

Quote: Most series are broadcasted for 1 cour [...] or 2 cour [...] With the exception of NTV programs, few titles have longer cour.

What is the intended meaning of "cour" – French for "court(yard)"! – here? -- Picapica (talk) 11:43, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Time format

[edit]

I don't believe that the use of such time designations as "25:30" and "26:00" (for 1.30, 2.00 on the following morning) is unique to Late-night anime broadcasts. It would appear to be commonplace in Japan for "overnight" times: e.g. "Bar open 18:00 to 26:00". -- Picapica (talk) 17:48, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
