Name Spelling
Anyone know the proper way to spell his name? From the Major Nelson blog, they have it as Hryb, but the article here is peppered with it being Hyrb, and also Hryb is a redirect. -- Hellmark 07:44, 6 July 2006 (UTC), my company worked with him when he worked for WKSS radio in Hartford, CT (last stop before Microsoft). His name looks like a typo, Hryb is pronounced "Herb" --Patryanvb 18:02, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Switched places on the content now. Hyrb is now being redirected to Hryb. Adn the content on Hyrb is now of course on Hryb instead.--SWEblogger 14:59, 11 August 2006 CET
GGW Picture?!
What's up with the Girls Gone Wild picture? It was just recently added and has no copyright info or releases. I think I'll delete it. Kmillard92 05:29, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
New Pic
Hyrb sent me a better, more portrait-like image which I think is more appropriate for a Wiki entry. JAF1970 02:25, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Podcast episode numbering
I've changed the episode count from 200 in November '06 to 100. He started his episode numbering scheme at 100 (although the first couple of episodes are still named by date and not number), and for whatever reason, Larry himself hasn't made this entirely obvious, referring to his '200th show' numerous times. Eventually, he admitted that he really only did ~100 distinct, full shows by that time, although I can't track down the specific place where this admission was made (perhaps it was in episode 201). As a reference point, one of his earliest shows dates back to January 2005, leaving not enough time for 200 weekly episodes by November 2006. Jschuur 18:44, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
GameDaily
Major won Readers Choice Award for Person of the Year, should this be added? Check it out here —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.195.68.56 (talk) 02:59, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. Gamedaily may not be the most reputable source, but it is notable in relation to Larry. --Magus05 (talk) 08:50, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
New Editer
I've had a wiki account for a while now but have never used it for anything. Ive decided to start editing pages. If I do anything wrong let me know so that I don't make the same mistake twice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ridd3ll (talk • contribs) 13:14, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
You misspelled Editor in your title. So my advice would be, run your edits through a spell checker ;)
Xbox Live redemption code giveaways?
Larry Hryb frequently gives away codes that entitle the user to a free piece of content from the Xbox Live Marketplace. Would this be worthy of mentioning on this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Litheon (talk • contribs) 01:49, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Year of birth
The page links to 1976 as year of birth. I think he was born around 1964 or 1965. He graduated high school in 1983. Frank D69.38.225.98 (talk) 18:26, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- Any source for that graduation date? Zero Serenity (talk - contributions) 18:31, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
