Campaign Flyer?
This article reads like a campaign flyer for Hogan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Historygeek2007 (talk • contribs) 23:15, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
The terms "fiscally responsible government" imply that those that disagree with the organization are irresponsible and plays into the objection that this article has a tint of propaganda. I would recommend replacement with "fiscally conservative government" or more specifically "lower tax rates" since that is the main drive of their acknowledged mission. Alternatively, you can put quotes or italics to make it clear this is a self-description and not an objective assessment with observable metrics. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Williamjacobs (talk • contribs) 12:59, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
Important: Change Maryland was founded by Hogan himself. The web page itself says at the bottom: "Paid for by Larry Hogan for Governor - John C Wobensmith, Treasurer" Describing a campaign organization as grassroots is misleading. There are no indications that this organization served any grassroots purpose other than Hogan's election and it is paid for by Hogan. This is inaccurate and I am striking the word "grassroots" for that reason. If Change Maryland has a widespread membership of ordinary citizens, it can be reversed, but there's no support for this and the link goes to the campaign website, not a wiki to describe its history or membership. Larry Hogan Jr and the NRA
Despite appearances on the News Channel 8 gubernatorial debates in which Hogan denied an agenda that would include easier access of conceal carry of firearms or repeal of gun control measures already law in Maryland, on October 21, 2014, the Baltimore Sun reported that Larry Hogan Jr. had garnered the support of the NRA, purportedly because his opponent was known to be in favor of gun control.
Also, despite a campaign platform that included many measures to assure that transportation funding would be restricted to being spent only for transportation, an endorsement by Chris Christie of New Jersey would seem to indicate that facilitating transportation during rush hour as Christie apparently did not, would be a low priority of his administration, if elected. Yumi Hogan may be notable
I think there is significant coverage on Larry Hogan's wife, Yumi Hogan. As of right now, Yumi does not have an individual page. Should there be one? --Mr. Guye (talk) 02:48, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
- At present, I'd say no. All the coverage I've seen so far has come from her being married to Larry Hogan. -- Pemilligan (talk) 18:51, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
- Of course, I don't think putting her entire biography on his page is right, either. -- Pemilligan (talk) 18:20, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

Hogan's Failure
Hogan's role is as an ambassador to large corporate interests (FIRE sector, including real estate but also large Defense Contractors). This conduct is increasingly at odds with the less wealthy demographic in Maryland who - while most likely indifferent to politics or politicians, are starting to see their elected officials with increasing disdain.
June 2021 saw an unprecedented act of brutality from the Governor. Eliminating the UI safety net for over 100K people in MD. Maryland State Agencies claim that a computer glitch caused some delays but the intent is to end all Federal Subsidies on 7/3.
In July Hogan was handed an injunction and benefits appear to be restored. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.58.191.11 (talk) 03:17, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
Hogan builds "wealth" by filling prisons
Hogan's popular calls for "criminal justice" directly support free prison labor and the well paying jobs of people who enforce our system of mass incarceration. There are at least 4 different occassions when this politician has demanded more "street level" enforcement during the pandemic in 2020-2021.
Hogan knows that criminal Justice applies exclusively to poor people and the concept of illegality doesn't touch powerful corporations. Moreover, the United States has a prison system that's larger than any in history and criminal justice will never apply to Hogan's corporate backers, and this is why his behavior in a state as corrupt as Maryland is mostly invisible to a still wealthier upper demographic and the press that they would typically be exposed to. What we don't need in wikipedia is hate directed at a politician but the unbelievable disregard for human life in Maryland needs to be placed at the feet of a souless monster who presents himself to as a moderate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.58.220.203 (talk) 16:19, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
