[edit]I removed the "fiction as fact" template because 1) nobody smarter than a sponge would have been confused by the article, and 2) I also tried to address the problems the template is intended to flag. Backstory is clearly identified as such. Further tinkering is of course welcome, and the article needs more work than I have time to invest just at the moment. DCB4W 04:34, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Confusing line
[edit]In "Notes", this line is a little confusing: "He has known expressions to take on a shimmering quality." What's this supposed to mean? Pristine 03:11, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- It was a comment made by Larry in the episode Hardball. He's referring to mathematical expressions, so maybe "mathematical" needs to be added to the line. --LadyShelley 03:57, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Fair Use Pictures
[edit]I was recently looking at the pictures on this article and I noticed that none of them have a source for where they came from. Could you possibly find pictures of Larry that are fair use and/or state the source? -Diabolos 03:10, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
They are fair use as they are screenshots from the television series. --68.224.247.53 22:45, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Coming Back
[edit]According to last night's (4 / 20 / 07) Promo for the next episode, Larry will return. Should this be noted, and should the "was" at the begining be changed to is? 71.241.221.202 19:26, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
I just changed "Larry will be back in the next episode, Killer Chat" to "Larry will be back in 3x11, Killer Chat". 24.245.79.101 22:29, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Larry Fleinhardt.jpg
[edit]Image:Larry Fleinhardt.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

References Tag
[edit]Since some references have been added to this page, I wanted to know if it is okay if I removed the "references needed" tag. If it is not, then please let me know which references have problems.SciGal (talk) 14:54, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Real life basis?
[edit]I just stumbled across the page for a scientist named Paul Steinhardt and I started to wonder if maybe Larry was based on him? They are both cosmologists, they have similar names. They both have connections to Princeton, and Fleinhardt teaches at CalSci while Steinhardt received his BS from Caltech. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I thought perhaps someone knew of an interview or article that made mention of the inspiration for certain characters, similar to how in Lie to Me the good doctor Lightman is based on a scientist named Dr. Ekman. 67.220.13.11 (talk) 16:38, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
