[edit]I'm a King Crimson fan but also a Wikipedian and this needs major cleanup. If anyone wants to start a King Crimson WikiProject, I'll definitely be participating.-h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 21:04, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, and it's not technically a song because it doesn't have singing. It's a composition. This article should be renamed as such.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 13:36, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, first of all it's kind of fan-boyish to have a separate "impact in fan circles" section for each part of LTiA. But beyond that, I'm under the impression that KC's re-use of the title is more of a running joke than a serious attempt to treat the four pieces as parts of a greater whole. Does anyone actually listen to them back to back? And what's this recurring musical motif that people speak of... I don't hear any common motif between the parts. They should probably be treated as separate pieces, with a page for each part. 74.65.6.62 02:49, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- There is a common motif between parts II and III. You just need to listen more closely :) --h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 12:00, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- In fact, I'm fairly certain that the intro of part III is derived from part I and/or NY3; if memory serves me well that would be an "and". --Helioshockwave 00:46, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

I feel the greatest problem with this article is that it uses several weasel words that are intended to drive the article, but nothing is verified. 74.106.141.233 02:03, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, what is with these 'Impact on Fan Circles' sections, they obviously reflect only the opinion of the author.Jimmyupt 19:08, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Emmanuelle
[edit]Regarding Emmanuelle, a potentially better source can be found here. It's an old forum post that contains a transcription of a magazine article from 1979. The problem is attribution; the forum (presumably at etree.org) is long dead and there are no archives outside of archive.org, and the transcription might be nonsense. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 18:10, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Redirection
[edit]I'm curious as to why "Larks' Tongues in Aspic" redirects to this page, instead of the page for the album. Shouldn't we assume more people are looking for the album that the song? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.241.20.116 (talk) 22:53, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Larks tongues in aspic album cover.jpg
[edit]The image Image:Larks tongues in aspic album cover.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

- I don't believe the song was ever released by itself, and if it was, it did not use this image as its cover. If I am right, the image needs to be removed. -Freekee (talk) 16:27, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
LTIA Part 2 - Discipline tour
[edit]LTIA Part 2 WAS played by the Discipline 4-piece on tour. It was performed at Poole along with (as usual) The Talking Drum. For what its worth the encore was "Red". As far as I can remember they were the only pre-Discipline songs / tunes performed at that show - everything else was from Discipline — Preceding unsigned comment added by Olddemdike (talk • contribs) 01:34, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
