Birth Date Speculation
[edit]"Although her papers listed May 1st as her official birthday, it is possible that she was born on the night between 1st and 2nd May. However, for personal and political reasons, she might choose to list May 1st as her birthday. This day played an important role in both German and Soviet cultures: it was a great festival (the Walpurgis Night) celebrated in Germany, and it was also the Communist celebration of International Workers' Day."
Moved from page as no reference to this and is just speculation, if there is any referencable material substantiating the possibility she changed her official birth date then I would suggest a re-worded version of this should appearVotemoose (talk) 13:59, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
The geography of Germany
[edit]"Her later writings came from Hamburg, whilst she was visiting a malaria clinic in nearby Wiesbaden." . . . nearby??? It's further than London to Newcastle-u-T!!! There does appear to be something missing here.

cause of death
[edit]Was her death from typhoid fever or from typhus? These are not the same illness. The current article says typhoid, but other sources say typhus. Please check and correct if necessary. 108.237.222.11 (talk) 14:44, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
