Company rebranded
[edit]Laredo Petroleum has rebranded to Vital Energy (I included a source in the article). Also, the company's logo needs to be updated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakelacaze (talk • contribs) 14:27, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
Lack of notability
[edit]I did some research. While there have been some television interviews with principals of this company (e.g. those found [1]) it's hard to separate the company's notability from that of its principals.
There is routine coverage of this company in industry publications, business publications, and local publications, as one would expect. The emphasis being routine.
Independent of notability, the article as it exists is very poorly written. Frankly, if this were a clearly notable company, a one-paragraph stub would be better.
For these reasons, I am nominating this page for deletion. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 01:35, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- Is on the NYSE. Yes, the article was in bad shape, but now has been cleaned up. VMS Mosaic (talk) 06:06, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- The article was improved during the deletion discussion. I am not convinced that the subject is notable, but it passed AFD with a clear "keep" and the community has spoken. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 21:08, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
