Neutrality
[edit]Also, the section on the creation/design is only how that ONE company does it. The vast majority of lapel pin design is done in as vector art, in adobe Illustrator, corelDraw, etc. I know this because my job at the time was the design of lapel pins for the companies. I still do freelance artwork for several companies now as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.94.93.34 (talk) 04:05, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Is the "Modern Manufacturing Process" section needed?
[edit]Someone removed the entire Modern Manufacturing Process section. At first I thought it was just vandalism, but upon further review, it is pretty spammy. Is there any valid, noteworthy information in this section? I don't know enough about the subject to say for sure, but it seems like it could be made much clearer and shorter, at least. - I don't believe removing the section is the way to go, but the layout could use some work (that goes for this whole article) and it does seem more dense than it needs to be. --oKtosiTe talk 14:52, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- After applying several layout and spelling fixes and removing some extra spammy content, I changed my mind. The "Process" section looks like it was copy-pasted from a company website. It even contained a link to one. I'm going to suggest it for improvement/removal. --oKtosiTe talk 15:15, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, random user here. Yes, the current "Process" section seems out of place and unnecessarily specific to a particular type of pin, compared to the "Modern manufacturing process" section beneath it, which covers a number of different pin types. 184.57.53.25 (talk) 22:29, 12 January 2017 (UTC) Random user

Proper Way to Wear
[edit]I was looking to find a section or information on whether they should be worn on left or right, alone or is it okay to cluster, etc. My guess would be to look at a military uniform and see how the insignia is placed. I'd think something more authoritative would be useful. 184.36.124.211 (talk) 16:21, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- According to Ehow, pin should be worn on left lapel (closest to heart) If not wearing a coat, a man may use as a tie tack or a woman can pin to the left side of her blouse. Siriuskase (talk) 16:43, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Flag pins
[edit]Shouldn't this page contain information about the flag pins ubiquitous among American politicians? They've made major headlines multiple times, perhaps most notably in the 2008 Democratic debate in which Clinton called out Obama for not wearing one, prompting him to wear one at every public appearance since. The information could appear under Cultural significance or its own heading.24.234.134.130 (talk) 03:50, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
