As of 2003, Langley was the only school in the FCPS system to offer AP Macro/Microeconomics. Additionally, significant courses include the school's Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra classes and AP Russian Language (Langley is one of only a few high schools in the nation piloting the new AP Russian course, not only the AP class - the Russian course in general).
That is not true at all, as far as 2008 goes. I know Chantilly offers Micro/Macro, and I can scan the coursebook to prove it, if need be. 68.100.78.54 (talk) 22:09, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Langleyhs.jpg
[edit]Image:Langleyhs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Famous Langley Alumni
[edit]The article indicates that Aldrich Ames attended Langley, which must be a mistake. Mr. Ames was born in 1941, and would have been a high school freshman in 1954. Langley High School was founded in 1965, when Mr. Ames would have been 24. During its first year of operation (in 1965), Langley admitted only freshman. Perhaps there was a mistake between this high school and his place of employment.Elizabellaire (talk) 22:59, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Good point. I've reverted that dubious edit, and removed other unsourced additions as well (alumni to be listed as notable should be properly sourced, if not linked to an existing article, to verify notability per WP:SCH/AG and WP:NLIST). JGHowes talk 00:56, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
