Lancope, Inc. is an American company based in Alpharetta, Georgia which specializes in network performance monitoring. Its best-known product series is StealthWatch, which collects and analyzes NetFlow, IPFIX, sFlow and other types of data to detect problems which might impact a network's security or performance. StealthWatch is used by Global 2000 enterprises and government agencies, and is also part of the Cisco Systems Cyber Threat Defense Solution.
Based in Georgia, the company was founded in 2000 by Georgia Institute of Technology professor, Dr. John Copeland. In 2002, the CEO was Harland LaVigne, and the company had approximately 20 employees. According to the 2012 CFO, David Cocchiara, the company became profitable in 2008. As of 2013, Lancope is run by President and CEO Mike Potts, who previously served as president and CEO of AirDefense, and joined Lancope in 2010.Cite error: A <ref>
