Requested move 14 January 2019

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Moved and pages swapped to preserve edit history per Crouch Swale's suggestion  — Amakuru (talk) 18:24, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

LamyatLamyatt – This is the name of the village and now its parish has been renamed to this also. The usual practice anyway is to use the name of the village and include facts about the parish, as opposed to using the name of the parish (if they have variants). Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:53, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That seems reasonable - presumably we can preserve the redirect. Currently "Lamyatt" redirects to "Lamyat" so if moved "Lamyat" would then redirect to "Lamyatt"?— Rod talk 19:44, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The history of "Lamyat" and "Lamyatt" should be swapped like what was done with Castle Rising (castle). Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:04, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
