[edit]Native Lubbockite here, do any Lamesans know the story of the original chicken fried steak? Is this for real, or is it something made up by a reporter from the Washington Post? Just curious. I went ahead and added it to the trivia section, since it seemed notable. Pygmypony (talk) 09:26, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- My name is Larry BeSaw. I was the reporter who wrote the story of chicken fried steak being invented in Lamesa when I was a reporter for the Austin American-Statesman, not the Washington Post, in 1976.
