White is one of two major Louisiana media insiders on the Louisiana political left (Bob Mann, the LSU professor and Times Picyaune columnist being the other) that Democrats and other left leaning groups go to in order to get their perspective out (as shown by the head of the Louisiana Democratic Party publishing editorials on White's blog) or for people to understand what the progressive perspective on issues in Louisiana is.
On top of this, White has been involved in breaking (or playing a role in) dozens of stories of import in Louisiana and Texas, from vouchers to Wendy Davis and disabilities to Congressmen's campaign fraud and has been interviewed by international media. He is clearly notable because of the impact he's had in Louisiana and Texas politics.
The page itself needs to be cleaned up, and I've added more citations and made it much more readable, but rather than deletion the page should be improved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.31.206.35 (talk) 09:31, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
While I don't particularly care much for the attitude or politics of the subject, the coverage of his activities in the time period between the last, successful, AfD and the current day seem to put him over the top for satisfying WP:GNG. Safiel (talk) 07:26, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
