Deification

Wow, this article seems to make a local god out of Laloo Yadav, while SYSTEMATICALLY ignoring or underestimating his negative sides--him being a curse upon India. Silly, rare articles have been quoted praising him, while blatantly ignoring his long time image among the educated Indian middle class and the media. Everybody just seems to have a "bias" against him--what an excuse! All these constitute serious breach of Wikipedia's NPOV. I have added in the intro that he is known for his caste-based politics, his corruption, and his primary mass appeal lies among the so-called backward castes, and I will not tolerate its removal.Cygnus_hansa 22:48, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

This Wikipedia biography seems to be prepared by a staunch fan of Lau Prasad. A much more balanced picture should be presented that should also throw light on his negative impact on the polity and economy of Bihar which lost precious 15 years of development opportunity under his rule which has been often called “jungle raj” or Jungle Rule. Name

According to the official profile of Lalu Yadav from bhiar his name is Lalu Prasad NOT Lalu Prasad Yadav. http://164.100.24.208/ls/lsmember/biodata.asp?mpsno=2439 even his father's name does not have Yadav in it.

Education Qualification

From what I have heard, he is a graduate (B.A., LL.B) from Patna University, but this is not confirmed. The article certainly does not provide a balanced view of Lalu, again which is not his actual name Lakshmi Prasad. Hassmukh

Yes I agree this article has too many hyperboles. It would be difficult to confirm his educational qualification given that the person pretends to be rustic in public. As per Indian Government records his name as Lalu Prasad the issue has been discussed above.Abhishekmathur (talk) 00:44, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

POV

I am placing a POV and clean-up tag here because this article is partial to Lalu, has unreferenced statements and some very misleading references. The article does not mention his corruption cases, misrule of Bihar and controversies enough. I think your understanding of Lalu Prasad Yadav is based on the media, which has already been claimed in the article to be biased. I think the article is not at all partial to Lalu Prasad Yadav and at the same time need further improvement. I find that some of the editors are biased against Lalu Prasad yadav, which is reflected from some of the edits intending personal attack on him. Manoj nav (talk) 20:13, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia is full of people like cygnus hansa, especially in Indian circle. many of them had got banned earlier, but some seems to be surviving to this date. This guy has also left some uncivil remarks on my talk page. I am deleting another libelous comment by anon.  Ikon |no-blast

The article needs lots of improvements

The article has not been written like a biography. I don't understand why a subsection - 'Background' has been included, which is generally used while describing an event. This article has been edited blatantly and a complete inappropriate paragraph was added which I removed. Misuse of Citation

This article[1], which is just a personal opinion of a person, cannot be used to justify, who gets the credit for turnaround. Kindly refrain from using such references to arrive at conclusions. If important such articles can only be quoted as opinion of some notable personality, which is not the case here. The Politican Career section has a statement to the effect that World Bank lauded his government's work in the 1990's. Bhumihar

Bhumihar is a separate community from Brahmins, I had changed it to Bhumihars from the misleading term Bhumihar Brahmins to avoid misunderstanding. Some trolls seem to be prevailing on this page, unfortunately some of whom are also admins, who keep on reverting to incorrect version to air their personal propaganda. I would urge to refrain from this practice too. This page should get immunity from any admin action from an Indian Admin for Obvious reason.  Ikon |no-blast 17:30, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Possible Abuse of Admin Tool

Once I had pointed out, the entire Turnaround story of Railways, although present in source is not visible in the article. It is possible only through hide tag or some invisible admin tool. It was fixed after I complained in the archived talk. Still I find some sentences, invisible. If someone doubts it either discuss or remove, supressing it through admin tools is highly unfair. this guy iconoblast has been active in many online forums and seems to be an active propagandist for Laloo Prasad Yadav. His comments show a clear bias in favour of Laloo and against Nitish-BJP combine.

Gown with Lalu Yadav

When was this guy born. The article fails to mention even the basic info. Also, the way he ruined the whole state with the help of Congress Stooges is beyond imagination. Such has been disarray of state that even his own brother in law left him for good.
