I believe lakeland (also lake region, lake district) can refer to a type of lake-specific terrain - Polish 'pojezierze' ([1]), German 'Seenplatte'... -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  17:59, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I agree though I'm petty late to, lol. It's a type of Wetland but has grass as the main plant. The bodies of water may also be deeper than usual. The water is typically fresh like most lakes are. 68.40.189.45 (talk) 23:35, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
