Glacial lake?

Was this a glacial lake? Were there glaciers in South Africa 10,000 years ago? -- Geo Swan 01:33, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kalahari…

Is the term “ Kalahari Desert” the correct one? I thought it was now regarded as tautologous, given that Kalahari, like “Gobi” means “desert”, and the best thing was to say just “Kalahari”. Just a thought… Jock123 (talk) 13:32, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
