[edit]I think this poem needs to be put in context but I'm not really capable of researching deep into it.
I dont really know what a Baroque poet is, but I imagine there is burlesque humor in it. For example, the notion that it's head and tail were pinned down is a little odd, but it makes sense if it is a joke referring to the early sighting of the "thing" where no one saw its head or tail. --Kiyoweap (talk) 04:20, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
